MINISTRIES

Trinity is engaged in the ministry of making disciples in numerous ways and places in San Antonio and around the world.

Prayer Team

Prayer is the foundation of the TUMC community. An active prayer life keeps us connected to God and in ministry to one another.  Our intercessory prayer team meets via zoom every Wednesday at 2:15 pm. We welcome your presence and or your prayer requests.

Sunday school

Trinity provides learning and faith development opportunities for persons of all ages.
 
All Sunday School groups meet at 9:15 am in the Null building.  Seekers meet in the parlor.
 
Godly Play (meet during the 10:00 am service) meets in the classroom in the Null building.

Feeding the 5,000

This ongoing ministry of feeding the hungry is carried out in partnership with San Antonio Partners in Service.  Join us and help us in packaging food items. If you would like to donate supplies for the ministry please call Don Ketchum at (210) 827-2527.

Music

 

Our music director, Jason Brown, works with and performs a number of programs which include choir for adults, vocal and instrumental ensembles, our handbell choir, and plays bass with our contemporary praise band.
  • Handbell choir practice is at 6:30 pm every Wednesday evening
  • Vocal choir practice is every Wednesday at 7:30 pm 
  • The Praise band rehearses before the 10:00 am service on Sundays at 9:00-9:30 am

F.I.P.S Fun in Progress Seniors

Our most active seniors gather for a light-hearted lunch every Sunday after the worship service. For information on the next meeting's location contact the Trinity UMC church office at (210) 684-0261.

Community service

 

Trinity believes in serving the community. We are involved locally, regionally, nationally , and internationally.  Special projects include the Muziti water project in Zimbabwe, Costa Rica missions,  Samm's ministries, Jireh House, Magdalena House,  the Children's center, Habitat for Humanity, and many more.
