Rev. John Njie Meande
Pastor John served at the Methodist church in Johannesburg as the Assistant Director of Outreach in Peace and Justice ministries. After three years he enrolled in the Master of Divinity Program at the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City. He served as the Associate Pastor of two Nazarene churches in Kansas City. He was appointed as a Local Pastor at Wesley-Harper UMC in Seguin. He was approved as a provisional Elder, and has been serving in this role for several years. Pastor John also serves as a Chaplain. He lives in New Braunfels with his wife Felicite, and children - Efome, Hadassah, Mishael, and Tamar.
Rev. Octaviano Garcia, Associate Pastor
Rev. Octaviano Garcia is the associate pastor in charge of Hispanic ministry for Trinity. He serves as pastor for Nuevo Amanecer, a primarily Spanish speaking congregation located at the corner of Quintana and Gerald St. on the the southwest side of San Antonio.
Cynthia Galang, Administrative Assistant (Office Administrator)
Cynthia has been the Office Administrator since 2010. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, major in Banking and Finance, from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines. She worked at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital as a Patient Financial Counselor from 1992-1997, then as an Administrative Manager to various specialty units from 1997-2006. Cynthia took delight in working as an International Flight Attendant from 1980-1988. She enjoys family and church time.
Jason Brown, Music Director
Joined Trinity in 2009. Jason also teaches middle school music in the NISD. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education from UTSA.
Layne Kerley, Organist
Layne has served as organist for Trinity UMC since December 1983. He served in the USAF as Chapel Manager for 26 years and served as organist at many stateside Air Force installations, and overseas, as well as other civilian churches. He began a career in Civil Service at Lackland and retired after 17 and 1/2 years in 2006. San Antonio has been Layne's home since April 1983.
Jared May Audio/Visual Coordinator
Jared is the "go-to guy" for all things audio/visual. He prepares the weekly worship presentations, sets up the sound equipment, special events, concerts, and generally keeps us technologically on track. Jared went to Concordia University for his BA in Human Resource Management. Jared lives in San Antonio with his family.
Stacie Brown, Handbell Choir Director
Joined Trinity and started the handbell choir in 1994. Stacie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Music Specialization at UTSA. She gained her handbell music expertise through several workshops and clinical courses. Stacie lives in San Antonio with her son, Tyler.

Twila Icenogle, Church Office Volunteer
Twila is our Tuesday office volunteer. She is also the church historian. Twila has been a member of Trinity since 1978. She lives in San Antonio with her husband Bob and their son, Richard.
Misha Misaki, Church Office Volunteer
Misha is our Wednesday office volunteer. She is also a member of our worship team and the church praise band.
Harriet Phillips, Church Office Volunteer
Harriet is our Thursday office volunteer. She provides bulletins together. She has been a member of Trinity since 1978, currently serving as church Lay Leader. She has been a member of our Chancel Choir since joining Trinity and is a charter member of the Jubilee Ringers (handbell choir) beginning in 1994. She has been the librarian for all our music except bell music since 1988. Harriet currently lives with her husband Tom in San Antonio. She has two sons, Brent and Brian, and a daughter-in-law, Shadia, Brent’s wife.

Mary Hale, Chair (Task Force of Children and Youth)
Mary is Chair, Task Force of Children and Youth (also a member of the prayer team). She has been Chair of the Children’s Council for many years so this was a natural progression for her. She teaches Sunday School, orders curriculum, has helped with Vacation Bible School, and is a story teller and the scheduler for Godly Play (a Montessori type of program during the worship hour that uses manipulatives to tell Bible stories). She is in the Prayer Group on Tuesday afternoons. Mary was an elementary Reading Specialist and primary teacher for 28 years.
